Gold prospecting is an interesting outdoor activity that can be enjoyed by the entire family. Be your own boss, and work at your own speed. Relax and experience the pleasures that the river valleys have to offer.
Gold is abundant all over Alberta. Learn about some of the locations where you can go to prospect for gold. Our members are friendly and don't mind sharing information about new locations they have tried. Of course They may never tell you where their mother load is.
See and learn the different methods being used to retrieve gold. From the basic
pan to the latest in modern equipment. Our members are always eager to tell
you where to get a good deal on equipment or show you how to build it yourself.
Learn all about the regulations and permits required. Partake in campouts and
get-togethers.
Come to the meetings and see for yourself what we're all about. Have a coffee and meet other members, while you partake in some of the stories and adventures.
Membership costs are only $25.00 per family per calendar year.
Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month from October to May, at 7:00 pm.
